Dinner With Rapp and Pascal: Rent Tour Begins Auction for BC/EFA
The touring company of Rent is offering fans a chance to bid on show-related items in an online auction that will raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Up for auction are dinner with the stars, a walk-on role in the show and a guitar made especially for the tour, among other items and experiences.
The auctions, which began on Nov. 17, are being offered on the websites charitybuzz.com and eBay, and at curtain speeches immediately following the show's performances.
The first item available in the eBay auction is a post-show dinner with members of the company on Nov. 22, while in Providence, RI. Bidding continues until Nov. 20.
Auctions continue with backstage "nights with the company," memorabilia auctions and post-show meet and greets, which are being held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings in two upcoming cities: Milwaukee and Orlando, FL, through Dec. 6.
