Set Design
Paul Clay is a visual artist who works in a wide variety of media. He has designed for Mabou Mines, Susan Marshal, David Dorfman, Ron Vawter, and many others in the New York and London. Recent projects include Commedia at De Nederlandse Opera, Amsterdam; Sea Change at the Cairo International Festival; Alice End of Daze at La MaMa Etc., New York; Perfect, Contact Theatre, Manchester, UK; and “Meet Qute” visual art exhibit at Heskin Contemporary, New York. Awards include the Municipal Arts Society Times Square Spectacular, Manchester Evening News Theatre Award, National Endowment for the Arts/ TCG Fellow, Drama Desk, and Bessie award. He also served as visual advisor on Tom Noonan’s feature film “What Happened Was...,” which received the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
